dont know what dog to get

hi, i really want to get a dog, but i dont really know what breed would be the best for me, i am not around in the day, i have a normal sized garden etc, i need advice

Give us some ideas what you are looking for. Low energy is probably best if your gone all day. Long hair, short hair???? I mean when you picture yourself with a dog what are you seeing?
