Where do you groom your dog?

I was wondering how everybody Pamperd thier pooch, We used to call a travelling groomer, but we do it ourselves, now. Much cheaper and we can style them how we want

What is best to do if you have just got a new dog

well, it depends which breed, jack russells and border terriers just have to be hand stripped every 6 months, but other dogs have to be trimmed, so i suppose if you had a dog that had to be trimmed you should really try and go to a groomers

Yea it does depend on the breed, thing is that you always need a fur cut eventually ^_^

lol... You can get specialist scissorsd, for our terriers theyre like combs instead of scissor blades... so it kinda straightens out all the matted fur and the bad bits come off... and then you can properly brush and cut them... it works really well.
